Challenge:	To determine the causes of product development failures and to develop corrective actions/improvements for future product development
Approach:	Performed an assessment of the client's technical capabilities, processes and organization in terms of its business objectives Identified weaknesses in technology competencies, organizational structure, and product development process Developed recommendations including new leadership, centralization of product development, and competency improvements Currently supporting implementation of recommendations
Results:	Client has made major changes in product development organization and staffing including the development of a new Business Development Center. The client is already experiencing substantial improvements in new product acceptance, revenues, and margins.
